What We Offer
We are an organization dedicated to bringing live music to the CSU campus and Fort Collins Community. These events give members hands on experience and applicable knowledge. They are also tons of fun!
Education
We organize and run educational workshops and host guest speakers to further teach members about the music industry and how to succeed in this field.
Connections
Being a part of the MBC gives you opportunities to network and connect with prominent people in the Music Industry. Members are kept up to date on job and internship opportunities and if you have a desire to gain specific experience we will do our best to help you find what you are looking for.
How it all Started
The Music Business Collective started out as a small group of students who sought to bring live music to Colorado State University. In Fall 2021, Chuck Morris, Former President and CEO of AEG Presents Rocky Mountains, started the Music Business certificate in the College of Business at Colorado State University. Through the encouragement of our professor and current Advisor, Eric Griffin, music business students started to brainstorm ways to get hands-on-experience in the industry. Since the start, our organization has grown to over 50 active members.
